Everyday Canadian started as a labour of love in 2012. My goal was to support everyday Canadians by appealing to everyday Canadians who, like me, wanted to buy products that are made in Canada.
My first pass ended up being more labour than love… I wrote items that were way too long, and got distracted by other projects. I’m rebooting the site, with a focus on short listings and occasional longer articles. I’ve also moved to a Canadian web hosting company.
I’m not including Canadian companies that outsource productions overseas. Instant Pot is awesome, and was designed by former Blackberry employees, but is manufactured in China. Hershel Backpacks are designed in Canada, but made overseas.
Thank you for stopping by. This is a one-woman operation, and a work in progress. I hope you’ll come along for the ride, and help me to support our fellow Canadians.
I welcome suggestions and submissions.
