In 1963, a bass player working as a repair tech at the original Long and McQuade Store in Toronto built his first bass amp. Peter Traynor’s Dyna-Bass was designed to be a reliable workhorse, standing up to the rough and tumble of life on the road while providing powerhouse sound.
More than fifty years later, the Traynor brand of amps is still going strong. Yorkville Sound, the company that Peter Traynor and Jack Long founded, manufactures Traynor as well as a full line of professional PA products including mixers, amplifiers, active and passive loudspeaker cabinets, and lighting.
