Montauk makes sofas you hate to leave. Solid hardwood frames designed to last, coupled with serious metal springs and bountiful down feathers and generous depth have earned Montauk sofas a reputation for being as comfortable as they are chic.
Manufactured in the St. Henri neighbourhood of Montreal (the setting for Gabrielle Roy’s classic The Tin Flute), they’re sold in six Montauk shops in major cities across North America.
The company was founded in 1994 by Tim Zyto, whose father owned classic Canadian couch creators Biltmore Furniture. Along with designer Danny Chartier, Zyto has forged a luxury brand that has earned unabashed acclaim.
