Cloud-based Celtx is a pre-production platform for creators of screenplays, plays, films, podcasts, anime, video games and other media platforms. Created in Newfoundland, this creative Swiss army knife of a program gives FinalDraft a run for it’s money.
Originally designed as a downloadable software for Macs, its offerings include a screen-writing module, collective cloud collaboration, storyboarding, scheduling and a shot blocker tool. Users can also upload scripts for peer review and public access.
The basic version is free. Upgrades, of course, are offered at an additional charge.
Celtx is created and maintained by a team of developers in Newfoundland.
